Program-based Admission
Entrance requirement in Year 1 of T&M-DDP
A) Joint University Programmes Admission System (JUPAS) Application
Prospective local secondary students may apply T&M-DDP through JUPAS. Successful candidates will enroll to T&M-DDP directly and will declare engineering and business major at the end of Year 1 and Year 2 respectively.
The minimum admission requirements of T&M-DDP are 4C + 2X (4 core subjects plus 2 electives). Please visit IPO website for requirements in table format.
4 Core Subjects (4C): English Language (4), Chinese Language (3), Mathematics Compulsory Part (3), Liberal Studies (2).
2 Electives (2X): Elective 1* (3), Elective 2 (3).
*Elective 1 must be one of: Biology/ Chemistry/ Physics/ Combined Science/ Information and Communication Technology.
Score formula: English X 2 + Math (compulsory) X 2 + [Best Elective 1 X 2]* + Best 3 other subjects^
* If the elective 1 is Information and Communication Technology, the score will be multiplied by a factor of 1 only.
^ if one of these 3 subjects is M1/M2, the score will be multiplied by a factor of 1.5.
B) Non-JUPAS Application
Interested students holding international qualifications, local sub-degree and post-secondary or other qualifications may submit applications through HKUST Online Application System. Successful candidates will enroll to T&M-DDP directly and will declare engineering and business major at the end of Year 1 and Year 2 respectively.

Application Path-way
T&M-DDP admits suitable local mainstream secondary students based on the HKDSE results. Please follow JUPAS Guideline and submit your application via JUPAS Online System.
